I graduated from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, in 2009, with a degree in Countryside Management. But I have always wanted to work with children and adults and, while at university, I spent some time in a local school. It was then that I realised how much I enjoyed it and that teaching was the job for me.

After 5 years of teaching, I still love being in a classroom with my students and making sure they have fun. I feel that if a lesson is fun and enjoyable, the students will remember it and, more importantly, what they learnt in the lesson.

Working all over the world as taught me a lot about myself and the world. I have learnt a lot about other cultures although I feel I still have a lot to learn about this wonderful world we all live in.

My name is Baby Lyn, but you can call me Beng. I’m from the Philippines.  I majored Food Technology where I enjoyed baking during my university years, but I later realized that teaching is where my passion is.

I’ve been teaching English for over six years now. I’ve started teaching English online in 2011 where I taught one-on-one and group classes to Korean students to all age groups and levels. I have been recognized as Quality Assurance Top Scorer for three years (2013-2016) for having consistently achieved one of the highest scores in monthly evaluation for teachers, and I’ve recently received Best Teacher Awards for having high lesson productivity, and best teaching performance for several months.

I always see to it that I use materials and techniques that meet the needs of students and their learning pace.
