My name is Wayne Zammit, I am a qualified TEFL teacher with a valid teaching permit from the Government of Malta and a TEFL teaching certificate from the Malta University Service. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and am a native speaker of English.  I continued my studies in Malta where, after a two year full time course, I obtained an Advanced Level Certificate in English from the University of London.  I proceeded to graduated from the University of Malta with an Honours degree in Psychology.

I have a combined experience of 9 years working as an IELTS and Spoken English trainer, Quality Analyst and Editor/Proofreader with a multinational American consulting firm. Besides healthcare, I have a deep love for languages; I'm fluent in two others apart from English—German and Russian—and I'm currently in the process of learning Polish. I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the US. It's a long story. Currently, I am living in Prague, Czechia, but I used to live in Belgrade, London and NYC (to name a few places). I’ve been teaching for more than 10 years, both face-to-face and on-line. Also, at different points in life I used to work as an Adviser for Sustainable Development at the UN, a bartender in a London pub, a waiter in a Prague restaurant, a translator in 4 different countries, a tour guide in 3 cities, and a news reporter.
