Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is J.J. I am a qualified, dynamic, and adaptive ESL teacher.

I have been in the teaching industry for 8+ years. My approach to teaching is conforming to a students personality, thinking process, and learning preferences- ultimately creating a well-balanced, interactive, fun, and productive teaching environment that enhances the learning process.

My education and work experience are broad and include, IT, aviation, business management and entrepreneurship.

I have been working for Skyeng for over 6 years, and have two degrees. My undergraduate degree was in law, and I have a master’s degree in invest and strategic management. I am doing my second master’s degree in Economics. I also have a TEFL accreditation. For the last 8 years, I have taught students of ALL ages and English levels, and have prepared students for TOEFL and IELTS exams, job interviews, and language for living abroad.

My teaching style is centred around what you want to learn. The main goal is to get you to learn English by looking at what you like doing. We will focus on expanding your vocabulary, enhancing your grammar and learning creative English and phrases with idioms and metaphors.

I have a passion for music, and play many instruments. I love watching sports like football and basketball. I am learning Spanish.

Работая в школе, была классным руководителем, среди моих учеников было немало призеров олимпиад. Предпочитаю работать в свободной форме, преподавая материал не на «скорую руку» (поэтому не отдаю предпочтение в подготовке к экзаменам). Опыт преподавания в школе — около 5 лет, опыт преподавания репетитором — 7 лет. В основном, работаю с начальным и средним звеном. Не считаю применение методик для отдельно-взятых возрастов подходящим вариантом, так как больше отдаю предпочтение индивидуальному подходу. Какие-то детки — визуалы, какие-то — очень творческие, и для всех методики — разные.

В свободное время посвящаю себя семье, прогулкам и спорту. Английский — это язык, который открывает двери в новый мир, дарит возможности и новых друзей. А отличное знание английского выделяет тебя среди твоих сверстников! Главное — не бояться и не циклиться на том какую форму глагола to be вставить в предложение. Ошибаться — это совсем не страшно.

Дипломированный лингвист, преподаватель и переводчик двух иностранных языков (английский и немецкий). Окончила МГЛУ в Минске. Английским занимаюсь с раннего возраста. Имеется опыт проживания и обучения заграницей (Австрия). На занятиях всегда отталкиваюсь от личных целей ученика, его интересов, хобби, какое отношение у него к языку. Даю понять, что ошибаться - это хорошо, мягко объясняя те моменты, которые не были понятны :) На занятиях всегда стараюсь создавать дружелюбную атмосферу, чтобы ученик чувствовал себя хорошо. В свободное время увлекаюсь чтением классической зарубежной и русской литературы, а также научными статьями. Изучаю японский язык и UX/UI дизайн.

I've been teaching English as a foreign language for the past 7 years. I've helped many students from all over reach their English goals. I have taught both adults and kids. I've helped students with different IELTS exams. I've assisted students with upcoming job interviews and university interviews. I've helped students with their grammar, vocabulary, reading, and conversational skills. I truly enjoy teaching and helping students with whatever it is that they need help with. I’ve been teaching English since 1997, predominantly to adult professionals at all proficiency levels.

Throughout the noughties, I was an English Language school owner and director of studies.

I have a teaching license accredited by the Greek Ministry of Education and I’m CPE, TEFL and TESOL Certified.

I also hold a BA in Culture and Civilization and a Master’s Degree in Cultural Organizations Management.

Hello everyone! My students call me Tim. I am an English tutor. If you'd notice, I'm pretty comfortable in speaking English because I speak it everyday. I started speaking English as early as preschool and I never stopped speaking the language since.
