I’m Mayvelyn. I’m a graduate of business administration major in Economics and research. 4 years ago I made a life-changing decision. I decided to follow my mother’s footsteps and teach. The transition was not easy since I came from the business world. But my passion for this craft is stronger.

My areas of expertise are Business English, phonetics, pronunciation grammar and I.E.L.T.S review. My students are from different age brackets ranging from 6 and above. For me my mom is the epitome of a perfect teacher. I grew up in a family wherein her school is the extension of our house. She inspires me to become better. In my quest for excellence I ended up taking crash course for languages, I wanted to understand what my students are going through and the more I understand them the more effective I am. It takes a lot to teach. Books are only a fraction of learning, at the end of the day teachers should be a great motivator.

I’m a hard-working person but I make sure to put balance between work and life. I love to travel, read and go out with friends. Life for me is a very colorful wheel and I want to share it with you, so come and join me in a fun and wonderful way of learning only here in Skyeng.
